Rookie Quincy Olivari capped his preseason with the one factor he needed greater than anything — a job.
The Lakers signed Olivari to a two-way contract Saturday, waiving middle Colin Castleton to create a spot for the most effective tales of the preseason.
Olivari, a 6-foot-3 guard from Xavier, had an eventful three weeks. First, he turned an unlikely web star on media day after getting caught on reside TV taking a selfie with LeBron James. Then Olivari sparked a 20-0 run in a comeback win in Milwaukee.
And Friday, he once more took the web by storm. Following a 22-point sport in his first begin, Olivari delivered an emotional postgame interview after interacting with Stephen Curry, his childhood idol, in a clip that was shared broadly on social media.

On Saturday, Curry posted a photograph of him and Olivari to his Instagram account with the caption, “Actual as they arrive.”
Olivari made eight of 14 pictures from three-point vary this preseason, tied with James for the perfect proportion on the staff.
