Team India will play only one warm-up match ahead of next month’s Twenty 20 World Cup in the US and West Indies. The BCCI wants to hold India’s warm-up matches in New York as the team will play three of its four group-stage matches at the New York stadium, reports Crickbuzz.
The ICC is yet to release the schedule of warm-up matches, but England and Pakistan are also unlikely to play two warm-up matches. The rest of the teams are ready to play two practice matches each.

The first batch of Team India was scheduled to leave for New York on May 21 immediately after the end of the first IPL league stage. But, it is now known that the team will leave in two batches on May 25 and 26. The players who will participate in the IPL final on May 26 will leave at a later date.
