New Delhi, PTI. Authorities staff will now have the ability to take part within the actions of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The central authorities has lifted the ban on authorities staff collaborating in RSS actions after 58 years. Though no assertion has been formally issued on this regard, BJP and Congress have claimed of their posts that the ban has been lifted.
Ban lifted after 58 years
Allow us to let you know that varied state governments together with Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh have already lifted the ban on authorities staff being related to RSS. It’s value noting that on 30 November 1966, the central authorities had banned authorities staff from collaborating within the actions of RSS. The central authorities led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi lifted the ban imposed throughout the rule of Indira Gandhi on July 9, based on an order.
RSS was banned in 1948
BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya shared a screenshot of the Personnel Ministry’s order on Instagram and posted, “Unconstitutional order issued 58 years in the past in 1966, banning authorities staff from collaborating in RSS actions, has been withdrawn by Modi govt.” Congress normal secretary Jairam Ramesh posted, “Sardar Patel had banned RSS in Feb 1948, after Gandhiji’s assassination. Later, the ban was lifted on assurance of fine conduct.”

Jairam Ramesh mentioned that in 1966, a ban was imposed on authorities staff from collaborating in RSS actions. This was proper. On July 9, 2024, the 58-year-old ban was lifted, which was in pressure even when Vajpayee was the Prime Minister. The Congress chief additionally shared a screenshot of the unique order of November 30, 1966, which banned authorities staff from becoming a member of the actions of RSS and Jamaat-e-Islami.
Congress media and publicity division chief Pawan Khera shared the screenshot of the order and mentioned that 58 years in the past the central authorities had banned authorities staff from collaborating in RSS actions. The Modi authorities has withdrawn that order.
