Tito Jackson, a founding member of The Jackson 5 and brother of the late Michael Jackson, has died, per Leisure Tonight. He was 70.
In line with the outlet, Jackson died on Sunday (September 15) following an obvious coronary heart assault.
Previous to his dying, Tito was on tour together with his brothers Jackie Jackson and Marlon Jackson as The Jacksons. The group lately carried out in Surrey, England on September 8 and had upcoming exhibits in Atlantic Metropolis, New Jersey and Cincinnati, Ohio.
Tito was in Munich, Germany with The Jacksons earlier this week once they “visited the gorgeous memorial devoted to our beloved brother, Michael Jackson.”
“We’re deeply grateful for this particular place that honors not solely his reminiscence but in addition our shared legacy. Thanks for maintaining his spirit alive,” Tito wrote on social media.
The musician was a founding member of The Jackson 5 with Michael, Jackie, Jermaine Jackson, Marlon, and later Randy Jackson. The enduring household music group produced a number of hits together with “I Need You Again,” “ABC,” and “I am going to Be There” through the Nineteen Seventies. The Jackson 5 was inducted into the Rock and Roll Corridor of Fame in 1997 and earned a star on the Hollywood Stroll of Fame.
Tito later went solo, dropping the 2016 album Tito Time and 2021’s Below Your Spell.
He’s survived by his three sons, Taj, TJ, and Taryll.
